Christmas Kiss Blossoms (without peanut butter)

Christmas Kiss Blossoms
Christmas Kiss Blossoms have been a tradition in my family since I can remember. I always remember going to my Grandma Jean’s house on Christmas Eve and having some Christmas Kiss Blossoms. These are not only nostalgic for me but are super festive and delicious!
Mike and I make these without peanut butter as our two teen sons have allergies to peanuts. The funny thing is that we like them better than the original recipe (and we LOVE peanut butter). So no disappointment here. We hope you enjoy these nut-free Christmas favorites as much as we do!

I like the idea of the Christmas kisses w/o peanut butter. I am a teacher and some of my students are allergic to nuts. This is something I can make during the Christmas party. Thank you
Thank you for this! Some of my family like peanut butter cookies, and others do not, so this will be a great addition to my recipe box!
The cookies look amazing and the little reindeer cookies are so cute
Interesting to know that they are still tasty without the peanut butter. I have had these a few times as a child, but they were not very popular with my family and therefore have not been popular with my kids either…but I love the red, green, and white that you did to make them more festive. ❤️
I never thought to make these without peanut butter. I’ll have to try your recipe. I also never did color them like you do. We just used peanut butter with the chocolate kiss, but no food coloring.
We love to make these also but Gluten Free. Love the no peanut version too
My mom always made these, too— they’re so classic! I love your red & green spin on them. I have a recipe for gluten free on cookies that I makes with the kisses, too. 🙂
I also do the kisses on 4 ingredient coconut macaroons, which are nut-free. I bet theyd take the food coloring well, too!
I love your ideas and recipes! Thanks sooo much!
I love Christmas cookies. My most favorite baking time of the year!
I want to have a cookie baking day this year. Will have to try these.
I’m laughing as I read this blog because I was just talking to a friend about the peanut butter blossoms earlier today, due to a cookie swap that we’re doing at church, and now I’m seeing a non-peanut butter recipe. The peanut butter ones are one of my favorite cookies but I also know about how some recipes actually taste better without the one ingredient that it’s known for. I have a mystical bar recipe that we made one time without the chocolate chips in attempt to have a healthier snack item; it tasted so much better that it is one of the few items that I refuse to use chocolate in-we now add blueberries and pecans to it instead. I’m looking forward to trying out this non-peanut butter blossom:)
I like these better without peanut butter! Thank you so much for the recipe!
