Nuremberg (Nürnberg) Zoo Field Trip

Yesterday, as a family, we decided to spend the day in Nuremburg, Germany. Our main objective was to take the kiddos on a field trip to the Tiergarten Nürnberg (Nuremberg Zoo). This field trip was a bit different for our daughter, as she was assuming the role of “photographer” this time around. Princess has always had an interest in photography and film production so we figured this would be a good first assignment in photography! CLICK ON ANY IMAGE TO SEE THEM LARGER.

Here are some of her wonderful pictures:

I was amazed at how well Princess did for her first time using a “nicer” camera. She didn’t get to use my professional camera yet, BUT we did buy a nice digital camera for a beginner. She used a Fujifilm Finepix AX300 that we purchased last week. She took about 40 pictures in all, then it was my turn to assume my normal role as the family “photographer.”

Here are some shots I (Mama) captured during our time at the Nuremberg zoo:

Oh yeah, here is my husband contribution to yesterday’s festivities, in my opinion it is one of the best pictures taken, because I am actually in it….LOL:
All in all our trip to the Nuremberg Zoo was a HUGE success! We had a wonderful time learning about all types of creatures and critters. And Princess had a fabulous time shooting and documenting much of the trip. So thankful for children who LOVE to learn and are up for new adventures all the time!
Blessings and happy homeschooling,
Carlie K.
