Prince Charming enjoying his new Jawa costume

Recently I was contacted by CostumeDiscounters to see if I would be interested in receiving a costume to review on my blog, and my immediate response was: YES!

Since our 5-year-old son just saw StarWars for the first time last month while daddy was home from Afghanistan for R&R;, I knew right away I wanted to review a StarWarscostume

After my 5-year-old son, Prince Charming, and I looked over the website, we decided we would get the Child Star Wars Jawa Costume to review. We received the costume VERY promptly – and it was packed very well, which is important as we are in Germany.

From The Costume Discount Website:

The Child StarWarsJawaCostume is an authentic reproduction of the outfits worn by the Jawas, a group of Tatooine native sandcrawlers who scavenged for scrap metal and machines throughout the desert. The Jawa were short rodent-like creatures with shrouded faces and glowing eyes and this costume will be instantly recognized by any true StarWars fan.

This costume comes with a robe (with tattered sleeves and a shredded hem), two velcro utility belts, and a hood with light up glowing eyes.

The quality of the piece was impressive. My son’s favorite feature is the hood with light up glowing eyes. It was very realistic and true to the Jawa characters in the Star Wars movies. You can easily wear any type of clothing underneath to vary with the type of weather and/or environment your child will be wearing the costume in. The sizing of this costume comes in children’s size: small (4-6), medium (8-10), and large (12-14).

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with this company. I would recommend Costume Discounters when searching for your costume needs!
