Review & Giveaway! Circle C Beginnings: Andi’s Pony Trouble
MOM & ME Book Reviews: These reviews will be focused around Christian/wholesome books for children. They will be done as a daughter mom duo so the reader will gain insight from both an adult and pre-teen child. These reviews will be very unique in nature and I am grateful to God for birthing this concept in my heart!
Today Princess and I are going to review the book, Andi’s Pony Trouble, by Susan K. Marlow. This is the first book in Marlow’s Circle C Beginnings series.
Mom’s ReviewAndi is a 5-year-old girl that wants nothing more than a horse for her soon coming 6th birthday. While Andi already has a pony named Coco, she thinks that Coco is too slow and old for her to ride. Her mother and older siblings all agree that Andi is just too young for a horse of her own. Andi does not like the fact that her family thinks this way of her, so she sets off to “show” them how ready she really is. Through her humbling efforts to prove herself ready for a horse, Andi finds herself appreciating the gift that she has already been given in Coco. Andi also finds herself talking with God more than just during evening prayer! And the best part of all is that Andi learns the very valuable lesson that if your heart is right, God will always give you the desires of your heart! In addition to a wonderful story, the illustrations are BEAUTIFUL!
Princess’ Review
This is a good book about a little girl who wants a horse and doesn’t stop following her dream and never gives up. Andi learns that she does not quite know what is “best” for her life yet and realizes just how much she really needs her families help. Andi also learns through her adventures to be grateful for what she has. One thing is clear from Andi’s character, it takes determination to live out your dreams!
