Change Is In The Air!

There are some changes being made to So You Call Yourself A Homeschooler that I wanted to share with all of you. As my blog has grown and I’ve settled into my online existence, I realize that just as in real life – prioritizing and reorganizing (even online) is a must. With that said, below you will find some things that have recently changed around here that may be of interest to you.

1. You may have already noticed, but the site has a very new look. At the end of February I made the transition from the Blogger platform to a self-hosted Word Press site. It was hard work behind the scenes (much of which I am still doing) but is so worth it. I can see the benefits for my personal blogging needs and how well this transition suits me.
2. I want to interact more with ALL OF YOU and find out what this blog can do to help your life as a homeschooling parent/family. With that said, I will be encouraging more interaction and question asking through Facebook and Twitter. I have also added a very simple to use “Contact Me” form to make asking questions, making suggestions, and anything else more simple and less time consuming. I want to hear from you as your continued support means the world to me!
3. I have added some more link ups (blog hops) to the site and will also be modifying one as well. Please go and check them out as I created them with YOU in mind. You can find them by going to the menu and hovering over the “link up” icon and all the different link ups will appear in a drop down form.                               The link ups include: Homeschoolers Around The World: A {Geographical} Link Up, Friday {Giveaway} Day, and A Day In The Life Of…
4. So You Call Yourself A Homeschooler is now open for advertising. You can find out more about our current packages and rates HERE.
5. I am asking for all my past email subscribers (and any first timers) to PRETTY PLEASE sign up to follow me via email again as I lost all my subscribers when my website switched platforms. It is super easy and only takes about 15 seconds to do. Just go to the upper right hand part of the sidebar enter your email address and press submit. That’s it!
6. I also lost all my Google Connect buddies when I switched sites, so if you were my buddy on GFC, PRETTY PLEASE sign up to follow me via email too? I miss interacting with you!
