Welcome to week 1 of the iHomeschool Network’s 10 in 10 Blog Hop! Here is a list of my top 10 favorite websites that I use for homeschooling. Some of them are used for encouragement, others for curriculum, others for ideas, but I personally use each and every website listed below. Just click on the title of each site to visit!

We Choose Virtues
I had to name this as one of my top 10 sites as the WCV products we’ve been blessed to review have changed our family forever. These are amazing resources for training children to have noble, Christ-like character on a daily basis. In addition to their wonderful curriculum for purchase, there are also free resources listed on their site as well. A MUST visit for any homeschooling family that values the content of their child’s character!

Hip Homeschool Moms (HHM)
This community of wonderful homeschooling mother’s is my first “go-to” for wonderful and encouraging articles on a plethora of subjects. There is a wonderful diversity of regular writers {I am humbled to be one of them} that give great insight and encouragement into the homeschool journey. HHM hosts the Hip Homeschool Hop – a wonderful Tuesday link-up that promotes community within the homeschool blogging community as well as a giveaway link up every Thursday. If you have never been, I encourage you to visit!

Notebooking Pages
Our family enjoys notebooking and have been blessed by this wonderful site! This site gives it’s paid members access for 12 months to a treasury FULL of printable notebooking pages to include: character studies, geography, copywork, history/timelines, famous people, science, nature studies, and MUCH more. In addition to this wonderful treasury full of notebooking pages, today May 22, Notebooking Pages is launching their new app: The Notebooking Publisher!

This new app will be added to all members of the treasury!

The Notebooking Publisher is a web-based application designed to help you and your children create completely customized notebooking pages.

Featured Applications:

The Homeschool Lounge

This is my all time favorite online homeschool community and support group. With over 18,000 members from all over the world, this is the place to go for encouragement, advice, and friendship. There are groups to join from moms of boys to photography – and it is just absolutely wonderful! I am also very fond of the founder – Tiany – she is a dear friend of mine and I am blessed to know her!

Amazon

I love this site as it has allowed me to purchase lots of things for my homeschool at discounted prices. After all, I bought my BFF {see my sidebar photo} from there! Keep an eye out for their deals as they are UNBEATABLE! My go-to site when checking out new curriculum for the upcoming school year.

Currclick

This site is fabulous for any type of curriculum in e-format. We have used many of the unit studies, preschool, kindergarten, and science bundles here. This is my first stop for supplementing existing core curriculum as well as for special projects! And on their homepage is always a FREE goodie for you!!

Starfall

We have used this site since our oldest was in Kindergarten. It is great FREE website to help with reading readiness as well as increase skills for beginning readers. A must check out for young learners!

Reading Eggs

A wonderful site for children to learn how to read, strengthen reading skills, and master reading and comprehension. We use this site every day for our 5-year-old son who is a beginning reader. We have a paid membership and think it is entirely worth it! You can read my review about it HERE.

Confessions of a Homeschooler

I love this site for my two youngest children. Erica has such great ideas and affordable curriculum for preschool thru early elementary! Go and check her out!

The Homeschool Post

This is home of the annual Homeschool Blog Awards {where I was blessed to be amongst the winners last year}. This great site is made up of many wonderful authors {…and I am honored to be one of them} that give a variety of insight and wisdom for your homeschooling journey.
