Faith Deployed and Faith Deployed Again {Review & Giveaway}

I recently had the great opportunity to read and review the books by Jocelyn Green, Faith Deployed and Faith Deployed Again. Both of these books are daily devotionals written by a compilation of different authors with military life experience.

These books have been such a blessing to me in my daily walk with Christ even though my husband is not currently deployed. I can only imagine how much more valuable they would be if he were. So much so that i have been reading them in the morning and the night.  Both books are geared toward the military spouse and how to honor God on your daily journey while your spouse is deployed or absent. However, whether you are a military spouse whose significant other is not deployed or not associated with the military at all, these books are very encouraging. They both teach small lessons on faith and how to apply bible versus to your daily life and struggles you may be going thru.

After reading Faith Deployed, I feel even more committed to the calling God has put on my life as a military spouse. Each devotion has helped me to “stay on track”, if you will, with this calling. I feel more readily equipped on how to honor my Army husband and the work he does. As for Faith Deployed Again, I feel this book is a continuation of the first. It is a perfect compliment to Faith Deployed.

In short, I would recommend both Faith Deployed and Faith Deployed Again to anyone, not just the military spouse. I feel these books could give anyone insight into some of the struggles the military family faces and how we handle them with God’s help. A BIG thanks to Jocelyn Green for compiling such an awesome team of writers to shed light on the encouragement we all need, just when we need it!
